More than 2000 people and countless police women and men gathered today in Kassel, Germany, to celebrate International Women's Day. A gratifyingly large number of people from all walks of life took this opportunity to demonstrate against patriarchy, for equal payments, LGBTQ+ rights, and above all for the visibility of women in order to protect their rights not only in Germany but internationally. The house shall be sold and now they demand the city to buy the house to save the stay of the club. Demonstration in front of Mayor Hall, Kassel. 24.02.2022 started Russia the attack on Ukraine since then four years of war passed by and today gathered hundreds of people in Germany and in front of the Mayor Hall to protest and speak out their frustrations. Speakers Mayor of Kassel Dr. David Schoeller and Prof. Dr. Hermann K. Heußner. Heußner for example spoke about that he wants a Nuclear defense for Europe. He also spoke about the unfair behavior against the Ukrainian refugees, especially in the beginning as long as they weren’t allowed to work. They finished their Demonstration with a walk towards Königsplatz, Kassel and shouted slogans like “Putin is a terrorist”. The whole event was peaceful and harmonic and ended at around 06:30 PM.
